HOW AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • The selected candidate will primarily serve as the coordinator of and facilitator for the workshops

  • Shall run two training programs to include facilitation, registration, updating training materials, classroom coordination, and course communication

  • Previous experience as a facilitator or briefer is required

  • Strong demonstrated customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required

  • Must be discreet and maintain confidentiality within the office

  • Knowledge of Federal, Agency and Human Resources regulations, policies, and unique Agency authorities in order to address organizational/business issues and questions is desired

  • Must prepare for one day, quarterly course (Planning Responsibly by Educating People for All Retirement Endeavors)

  • Every 1 or 2 years, there is the potential that a workshop will be offered in the field and will require travel for usually 1 business week

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • The position requires an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance

  • The position requires High School Diploma and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • On days with scheduled classes, there is no flexibility on hours, as the class must be supported between 0830-1600, as well as set-up and take down for the workshop

  • Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own

  • This position is on customer site

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $27.82 - $34.50. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
