Action Officer Position Description

KBR is seeking a candidate that is responsible for policy and strategy coordination, representation, and corporate compliance-related functions, directly supporting the Director and senior leadership team. Work with various inter- and intra-agency partners on overhead-related policy and strategy issues, foreign relations, and international partnerships, including commercial and civil space-related agreements.

The Action Officer (AO) will support in accordance with established organization/office policies, regulations, and procedures. The AO will direct and oversee the receipt, tasking, tracking, and closure of all internal and external tasks. The AO will manage the action tracking system. The AO will establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the Directorate/Office, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and maintain support functions to include Administrative Assistant support tasks

  • Manage Agency Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) actions

  • Analyze and assign or perform actions as appropriate

  • Coordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management review

  • Monitor process on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending, new actions

  • Draft, proofread, edit, and provide final review of internal and external correspondence

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Intelligence Community experience

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6 years of Intelligence Community experience

  • Demonstrated experience working with senior executives

  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office and standard computer applications

    Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
