Bongards' Creameries Customer Service Account Manager in Chanhassen, Minnesota

Description Job Summary: Bongards' Creameries is seeking an energetic, outgoing individual to be a Customer Service Account Manager at our Chanhassen, MN location. The Customer Service Account Manager is primarily responsible to help maintain and improve relationships with a set customer base, identify opportunities to increase sales and implement cost saving measures. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: Along with our Sales team, build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long-term partnerships Receive customer orders, calculate pricing and order entry, and coordinates delivery of product. Handle customer inquiries, complaints and resolve order issues. Authorize account credits as related to customer complaints and damaged product Clear communication to customers of order related issues including product shortages, incorrect pricing and order delays Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic plans and ensure sales goals are being met Develop a thorough understanding of our products to assist in addressing customer inquiries and identifying solutions for their specific needs Maintain customer pricing. Communicates and administers pricing internally and externally with brokers and customers. Using judgement to authorize pricing deductions and special pricing requests for end users as required. Assist accounting concerning customer credit or payment issues, review customer short pays and deductions, maintain back up of all deduction related activities in order to ensure the swift approval of account deductions. Create and interpret sales reporting to assist customers in account maintenance Attend and work trade shows as required Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively build and maintain relationships internally across multiple departments, demonstrate partnership and coordination. Communicates externally to build and maintain key broker and customer relationships that ensures timely responses and keeps the lines of communication open. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products. Create and modify Excel and Word documents regularly. Working knowledge of core functions in Outlook (e-mail). High use of ERP systems. Ability to learn new proprietary computer systems Ability to independently make judgements and decisions regarding customer care including, but not limited to: account write offs, special pricing, urgent customer needs. Strong ability to be responsive and highly detail-orientated and analytical in a fast paced environment. Ability to multi-task with shifting priorities utilizing strong time management skills. Ability to demonstrate customer service skills that can manage a diverse customer base in verbal and written form that maintain relationships. Must possess a high level of integrity Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines Ability to work independently Degree in business related field or comparable experience preferred.
