Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Be able to clearly articulate the values of Corning reactor products, and the benefits of their applications, as well as cover the technical details of our products succinctly.

  • Provide comprehensive product and application technical supports to customers via telephone/web/email/visit: Answer customer questions relating to reactor products & auxiliaries, and technical subjects related to product process integration in both R/D and manufacturing environment.

  • Independently to run application tests, flow chemistry process and the continuous downstream solutions development in the labs or at customer sites and be responsible to find solutions for building the equipment for the downstream

  • Interact with customer and auxiliary suppliers and lead the success of customer projects at various scales.

  • Conduct other tasks assigned by the manager

Education & Experience

  • Doctor degree with ≥2 years’ experience or master degree with ≥3 years’ experience in process chemistry, applied chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, or a related field

  • Experience in downstream solutions or engineering is a plus

  • Experience with process development in pharmaceutical, fine-chemicals a plus

  • Industrial synthetic process, plant reactor operating experience a plus

Required Skills

  • Proficient in organic synthesis experiment design, chemical reaction tests, reaction quench and downstream handling in lab and at customer sites

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in Mandarin are “must”

  • Outstanding interpersonal, telephone, presentation skills is preferred.

  • Good cross functional team communication skill. Experience in multiple team work.

  • Strong problem solving skills, and independent execution skills

Desired Skills

  • Experience of project management

  • Some knowledge/experience in process designs, and SHE regulations is a good plus

  • Some knowledge/experience in chemical plant production is a good plus
