BlackBox Site Superintendent in CHANDLER, Arizona
Primary Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for knowing and maintaining the project scope of work throughout the project for the assigned account(s) on a daily basis as well as recognizing changes and determining if any changes are cost impactful.
Responsible to coordinate with the Project Manager(s) to execute the scope of work.
Manage to the project specific safety program and ensure all safety compliance is followed including OSHA safety regulations.
Manage to the project specific quality control program to ensure all quality control mechanisms are in place to deliver a quality end product.
Provide weekly and monthly meetings and reports with the customer and Black Box.
Owns and ensures timely incident escalations occurs in accordance with established policies, procedures and OLA and SLA requirements for the assigned account(s).
Coach, mentor and develop staff including providing career development and training plans
Monitors and supports progress of the project to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.
Identifies, projects, and supports man loading schedules to maintain the proper manpower count to execute the available scope of work in order to meet the construction schedules.
Provide a customer specific end product based on site specific specifications in order to provide completion times and requirements for each phase of construction.
Maintain customer and vendor relationships
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Onsite role (not remote)
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience leading multiple low voltage projects simultaneously
5+ years of experience working with general contractors
Experience with manufacturing, office and data center construction projects
Experience managing projects with a minimum of 20 personnel and yearly revenue in excess of $3 million
Knowledge of building construction processes and procedures, equipment, tools and materials
Knowledge of multiple disciplines of Low Voltage such as Telecommunications, Fiber Optics, DAS networks, Security, Audio Video, CCTV, Controls is preferred.
Ability to interpret blueprints and read and understand specifications
Ability to evaluate construction and/or design problems and recommend solutions
Prior experience leading, motivating and directing a team
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliverables
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work through and solve issues on the go.
Excell, Power Point, Adobe experience a must.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in IT Management or other related technology fields of study – required
Registered Communications Distribution Designer, RCDD – BICSI preferred
PMP Certified or equivalent – preferred
ITIL Certified - preferred
