Job Title: Project Manager - Control SystemsJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale control systems projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed within scope, budget, and time constraints while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Oversee cross-functional project teams including engineers, designers, technicians, and other key personnel.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance reviews to team members.
Foster collaboration and maintain effective communication between team members, clients, and other departments.
Develop detailed project budgets and resource plans, monitoring project costs and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and manage resource requirements, ensuring that materials, equipment, and personnel are available when needed.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality, working with stakeholders to find solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and progress.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
Ensure that all control systems meet industry standards and client requirements.
Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to deliver projects that adhere to best practices and regulatory standards.
Essential Skills
Project Management - 5+ years of experience with control panel projects.
Budget Management - 5+ years of handling budgets and scope of work.
Control Systems - 2+ years within the control systems industry.
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with cost control and cost analysis.
Ability to forecast project requirements.
Strong client relationship management skills.
Work Environment
Enjoy a casual and flexible work environment with minimal overtime. Business attire is casual, and local travel is required 50% of the time to various sites.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $58.00/hr.
