Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking mid-level apprentices or journeyman electrical technicians to support I&C electrical work at Intel. You will be performing wire management, bending pipe, running conduit, EMT, and other responsibilities based on your expertise in motor controls, lighting, terminations, and other electrical applications. These functions will be performed with basic hand tools.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Bending/running conduit 1.5" inch or smaller, primarily EMT

• Installing control panels

• Installing cable trays

• Pulling wire

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.

Work Environment

Working at Intel Ocotillo site, you will work 60 hours per week, Monday-Saturday, 5:30am-4pm, on the Eagle Project Fab52. This is part of the tool install scope, and you must be comfortable entering clean rooms and wearing a gown/bunny suit as needed. The job site is in Chandler, AZ. Expect a lot of walking as the Intel campus is large. You will need to park and take a shuttle from the parking lot to the job site, arriving early to ensure you are at the meeting area by 5:30. Currently, the building is not enclosed, so it can get hot in the area. Enclosure work is in progress.
