Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The selected candidate will perform and help refine existing production PMs and assist in the development of additional PMs. Responsibilities include waste handling, managing and servicing our wastewater treatment system, and aligning with the TrueChem chemical titration process. Extensive hands-on training from Equipment engineers will be provided. Duties also involve maintaining the PM Module in IMSXpress, assisting in construction/installation tasks related to new projects, developing troubleshooting checklists, and responding to trouble tickets. The candidate will perform equipment and building repairs initially under supervision but will eventually assume full ownership of assigned tasks. Additional responsibilities include managing the Maintenance shop, Compressor room, Electrical Room, WWIX Plant, and wastewater treatment system PMs, as well as conducting TrueChem titrations and bath make-ups. The role requires compliance with site EHS tasks involving waste handling and permitting.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.

Work Environment

Training will be conducted on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for approximately 4 months.

The Front End shift is Sunday-Monday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (36 hours one week and 48 hours the following week, including 8 hours of overtime).

The Back End shift is every other Wednesday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (36 hours one week and 48 hours the following week, including 8 hours of overtime).

The job involves lifting up to 40 pounds sporadically, climbing ladders, working in small spaces, and wearing personal protective equipment including protective eyewear and steel-toe shoes. Candidates must also be able to become respirator certified.
