job summary:

Are you looking for a dynamic and fast-paced role in warehouse operations? We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking forklift operator to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for loading and unloading freight, managing inventory, ensuring proper rotation, and conducting inspections, all while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities: -Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers. -Sort freight by size and destination to ensure efficient movement. -Decode and interpret freight coding for quick processing and tracking. -Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests to ensure accuracy. -Label, weigh, and dimension freight to ensure proper shipping details. -Record and report any damaged shipments or misrouted freight. -Inspect, rotate, and manage inventory held in the warehouse. -Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse and work areas. -Complete all necessary documentation and reports as required. -Maintain a high level of communication with internal and external customers. -Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.

salary: $20/hr

work hours: 6:00AM to 6:00PM

qualifications:

• VMS Assignment ID

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

skills:

• Build, wrap, sort pallets

• Operate RF scanner

• Load, unload materials & equipment

• Operate hand truck/dolly

dress code:

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
