Egan Company Accounts Receivable Specialist in Champlin, Minnesota

Join our team! Egan Company is seeking candidates for an Accounts Receivable Specialist position located in Champlin, MN. In this role, you'll process a high volume of service receivables, use a variety of different tools, and monitor a wide range of accounts. This is a flexible, hybrid position allowing you to work a blend of in the office and at home. Responsibilities Prepare and process detailed daily billing related to service calls through Egan's internal billing applications. Enter invoice information into customer portals. Prepare backup documentation for invoices as needed per customer requirements. Document imaging and paperless transaction processing. Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. Research and Investigate to resolve billing, cash receipt, and customer PO issues. Monitor outstanding calls to bill. Provide assistance with lien waiver processing as needed Position Requirements: A two-year college degree in Accounting (preferred). 2-5 years of experience in a related industry required. Qualifications Previous experience billing in the Construction or Manufacturing industry. Previous accounts receivable experience with emphasis on invoicing, troubleshooting, and customer service. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (Accounting software) is preferred. Understanding of local sales tax as it relates to billing. Proficiency in the use of standard office computer programs such as Google Suite, Word, and Excel. Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little direction, as well as being comfortable in a team environment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail - ability to prioritize and organize high volume daily workload. Exposure to process improvement ideas in an accounting setting is highly desired.
