Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to design, develop, and maintain multi-site communications networked infrastructure. This position is located in Ramstein Air Base, Germany (International Assignment) NO REMOTE WORK*

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manages account creation and account administration on physical and virtual machines.

• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues.

• Conducts virtual machine builds on physical server stacks.

• Documents and maintains servers, creates monitoring reports and logs, and ensures functionality of systems.

• Installs and administers Windows and Linux Servers.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelors Degree with 8-10 years’ experience or Masters Degree with 6-8 years’ experience in Computer Science or a related technical field

• IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Sec +, etc)

• 5 + years of experience in a System Administrator role

• Experience with virtualization

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

• Experience with routers, switches, and firewall configuration

• Understanding of STIG, SCAP, and RMF requirements

• Secret clearance is required

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Creates GOLD images and server backups with the appropriate OS hardening, leveraging the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Content Application Protocol (SCAP) scans.

• Conducts routing and switching within the enclave, and integration of Firewalls.

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
