Providence St. Joseph Health Health Information Imaging Technician in Centralia, Washington

Description Health Information Imaging Technician - Centralia Hospital-Centralia(HR) SCHEDULE: 8am to 4:30pm In order to allow for timely completion of the medical record, the Clerk II will review each discharged patient record for incomplete or missing items, identify the responsible practitioner for each of these items, and link the deficiencies to the appropriate physician for completion. This position will be responsible for verifying chart completion and monitoring the reanalysis queue to ensure all records are completed appropriately. The position will also be responsible for timely notification to physicians of pending records that need completion, identifying those physicians who will be suspended and notifying appropriate hospital personnel/departments of physician suspensions. This position will also be responsible for the completion of Birth Certificates, MPI maintenance, and Release of Information. Position requires a self starter with strong independent decision making skills who can respond to complex situations with confidence. Required Qualifications: Computer keyboarding experience 6 months working as a Medical Records Clerk I Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience in an office setting Experience in medical records, medical office, business office, or customer service Why Join Providence?
