Providence St. Joseph Health Echocardiograph Technologist in Centralia, Washington

Description Provides quality care to patients. Performs transthoracic echocardiograms proficiently on inpatients and outpatients. Assists physicians with technical aspect of transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms. Completes patient worksheets and processes reports according to department guidelines. Participates in the development of the Echocardiology department by active participation in quality improvement. Required Qualifications: A degree from a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program or a program that is accredited by the Commission onAccreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Or upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience performing adult echocardiography Experience with transesophageal and stress echocardiography Why Join Providence?
