ManpowerGroup Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Centralia, Illinois

Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will be part of the operations department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Location: Centralia, IL

Pay Range: $21/hour

What's the Job?

  • Prepare shipping documents including pick-lists, packing lists, and bills of lading.

  • Verify order completeness and accuracy while providing work direction to shippers.

  • Arrange and coordinate order changes and expediting requests to achieve high customer satisfaction.

  • Schedule pick-ups with carriers to ensure timely movement of outbound freight.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while promoting EHS and Quality initiatives.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • 1+ year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word).

  • Strong systems knowledge along with knowledge of logistics standards and methodologies.

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently while building effective work relationships.
