Description and Requirements

Position Description:

The Senior Manager Asia Pacific ISO Solutions and Services Group (SSG) Marketing is a key player in driving marketing initiatives developed for potential services customers in Asia Pacific. He/ she will need to deliver authentic, impactful, consistent, and measurable campaigns and programs, while collaborating with a team of peer Asia Pacific marketing leaders for devices and infrastructure to deliver integrated customer centric messages is essential. This leader also works closely with SSG business leaders across regions and AP, enablement and product marketing organizations, and WW Marketing teams, to understand the business and the associated marketing goals and objectives. The Senior Manager AP ISO SSG Marketing owns the development and execution of the AP SSG marketing plan to achieve those objectives and drive measurable growth.

Objectives:

•Working collaboratively with peer leaders, establish holistic campaign strategies across segments and offerings which meet and exceed our targets, while delivering customer centric consistency and efficiency across AP markets.

•Work with key alliance partners to develop mutually beneficial plans which align to the campaign strategies while also ensuring full utilization of Market Development Funds (MDF).

•Establish and monitor supporting marketing objectives and KPIs for each segment and solution area and leverage them to lead a team that embodies agile execution.

•Leverage an integrated management system with the Senior Manager of Marketing Business Management Systems to drive seamless integration between planning, execution, analysis, and adjustments.

•Work with the Marketing Operations team to ensure budgets are properly prioritized to support our objectives and optimize success while maintaining fiscal accuracy and accountability.

•Lead with a People First attitude: dedicate time and resources to discussing, celebrating, and embracing the vast benefits of diverse ideas and experiences; while helping to build and evolve the team’s marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

•Partner with the AP sales and category teams to understand and support the SSG priorities and goals

•Partner with the WW marketing teams to understand and support the marketing priorities and goals

•Define the end-to-end AP SSG marketing strategy and document in annual and quarterly marketing briefs

•Help to build the annual marketing budget for AP SSG Marketing and manage the quarterly marketing budget and associated operational activities

•Cultivate a relationship, and develop joint plans, between Lenovo and key alliance partners which deliver mutual success for both. Manage the associated alliance partner MDF budgets to drive measurable ROI, high utilization, and error free execution that meets all partner requirements

•Working with sales, uncover notable customer wins and develop into marketable customer case studies which will be highlighted in through a variety of digital, social, and event tactics within our marketing campaigns. Where applicable, own the marketing relationship with related customers.

•Establish marketing objectives and KPIs, and coordinate across supporting teams to ensure alignment

•Own the target audience framework and associated messaging

•Own and evangelize the "Why Lenovo" story for SSG and ensure the strategy and content clearly articulate that value proposition

•Working collaboratively with lower funnel and events owners from the devices and infrastructure teams, establish the AP SSG event strategy and partner with the Events team to best execute and leverage events

•Partner with the Campaign and Media owners from the devices and infrastructure teams on planning and execution of campaigns to ensure the right audiences are reached, the message is heard and understood, and our goals are met

•Work closely with the lead development team to ensure alignment on strategy, definitions, targets, reporting views, and results. Partner with the AP Sales team to identify how to accelerate lead closure

•Generate New Contacts, Reactivated Contacts, and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) that become Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) that deliver pipeline and revenue using marketing programs

•Enable the direct and channel sales force with audience insights, campaign strategy, and specific collateral to effectively support the go-to-market strategy

•Educate sales and channel partners about marketing opportunities, best practices, and techniques

•Cultivate and share segment insights with relevant marketing teams at a AP and WW level

•Lead with a People First attitude: dedicate time and resources to discussing, celebrating, and embracing the vast benefits of diverse ideas and experiences; while helping to build and evolve the team’s marketing capabilities.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field

• 7 -10 years of relevant Marketing experience for an IT and/or technology company; relevant experience working with, supporting, marketing to, or communicating with, services customers in the B2B segment is desired.

Skills:

Previous experience managing a team of skilled professionals is highly desired

•Demonstrated ability to think creatively

•Extensive experience building integrated go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns

•Experience executing key go-to-market field tactics such as customer events, sales enablement creation, channel co-marketing programs, promotions, etc.

•Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail

•Previous budget management experience required

•Previous experience working with alliance partners and managing or leveraging market development funds is required

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with both internal and external customers and partners

•Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time

•Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.
