Timber Products Company Road Rescue/Parts Technician (Swing Shift) in Central Point, Oregon
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Identify customer needs and provide excellent customer service, with cost efficiency and safety in mind; Communicate costs; Work with outside vendors and assist in resolving on-the-road repairs.
Schedule Company and local customer truck repairs.
Provide accurate repair orders and estimates when needed, including data entry and documentation; Obtain approval for work to be completed.
Responsible for inventory and parts purchasing, as well as organization of the parts room.
Follow-up on calls and send recommended repair reminders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
One to two years of work experience in a diesel/automotive environment is preferred, but not required; Service writer experience desirable.
Possess effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in data entry and documentation design.
Possess exceptional time management and prioritization skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to work swing shift.
