Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies currently has an opening for a highly skilled and dedicated OPIR Intelligence Analyst to join our 24/7 crew. This role combines the responsibilities of an operator, real-time analyst, and message analyst to provide comprehensive support for Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) intelligence analysis. The successful candidate will be integral to operational and strategic support for client missions, ensuring mission objectives are met with precision and reliability.

analyst background to a system engineering role where you can make a

broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor system data continuously and optimize configurations to ensure mission success.

  • Perform daily operational activities, including system checks and data integrity verification.

  • Conduct real-time analysis of incoming data, providing immediate interpretation and actionable insights.

  • Respond dynamically to real-time mission requirements and ad hoc requests.

  • Analyze and interpret messages and communications relevant to OPIR data.

  • Produce detailed intelligence reports and products to support mission objectives.

  • Utilize advanced computer applications and intelligence automation tools to support analytical efforts and product development.

  • Maintain and enhance technical proficiency to ensure the effective use of analytical tools.

  • Provide clear and concise instructions to operators and team members.

  • Identify, retrieve, and disseminate pertinent information to enhance situational awareness.

  • Work independently or as part of a team, collaborating to develop new exploitation capabilities.

  • Engage with team members to share insights and improve operational processes.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

  • Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern to cover 24/7 mission requirements.

  • Possess a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

    Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in OPIR intelligence analysis or a related field.

  • Familiarity with intelligence community protocols and procedures.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and analytical tools.

  • Proven experience in adapting to real-time mission requirements and responding flexibly to ad hoc requests.

  • Ability to develop strategies and processes across multiple systems to achieve mission objectives.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $104,500 - $193,500 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
