Orica USA Inc. Lead-Marketing (Packaged Explosives) in Centennial, Colorado

Job Duties: Orica USA Inc. seeks Lead-Marketing (Packaged Explosives) in Centennial, Colorado to be accountable for the Region's strategic marketing outcomes for explosives to achieve commercial targets across the region. Own and manage price list and offer architecture for packaged explosives across North America. Proactively make recommendations on pricing with respect to services offering for each mining contract bid with a value proposition that meets the customer's needs. Drive packaged explosives portfolio management across the region. Product stewardship of packaged explosives with respect to technical specification, value proposition, safety/ regulatory, and marketing collateral. Align with global Strategic Marketing & Technology on product platforms for North America. Provide support to Bulk/ Explosives category as required. Manage continuous margin improvement initiatives within packaged explosives portfolio through strategies in the manufacturing network, product offering (products & formulas) and cost reduction across North America. Provide cross functional leadership to introduce product category advancements and new technology/ products into the region according to category plans/ regional strategies. Remote work permitted up to 40%. 20% travel including to Canada, Mexico, and Dominican Republic.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field. 8 years of experience in mining, industrial or other relevant industry. Broadbased knowledge and experience in commercial explosives, explosives manufacturing, and applications. Skilled with project management, pricing and costing mechanisms, and business process acumen (4S). Problem solving and analytical skills. Negotiation skills. Strong communication and influencing skills. Strong financial acumen. Results-oriented, strategic-thinking and holding others accountable. Collaborative and ensures communication with all key stakeholders to achieve success. New Product Introduction exposure.

Salary: $122,791 per year
