Job Title: Industrial Plant Maintenance Mechanic
Pay: $29.00 - $33.00/hr + DOE
Location: Castle Rock, CO
Position type: Direct hire or Evaluation hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00a - 2:30p with additional overtime hours and possible weekends as needed.
Express Employment Professionals in Centennial, CO is immediately hiring for a qualified Plant Maintenance Mechanic for a local Castle Rock Manufacturing company. This person will be responsible for communicating with manufacturing personnel and supervisors to ensure proper preventative maintenance as well as repair on various types of manufacturing equipment. This person must have a resourceful and proactive mindset while seeing projects through to completion. Bilingual-Spanish is a plus!
What you will do:
Install, repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment Complete routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment Evaluates, repairs, and maintains industrial equipment Receives maintenance reports and responds to maintenance issues quickly Places safety and accuracy as the top priority Works on conveying systems, production machinery, saws, bridges, packaging equipment and other miscellaneous equipment Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts Cleans and lubricates machine parts Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs necessary repairs Maintains accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed Organizes tool cage and work spaces within warehouse and yard while keeping a clean and safe work environment Researches, reads and interprets equipment manuals Maintains tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturers recommendations Completes routine facilities maintenance such as painting, changing lights, plumbing, rooftop repair, hanging items, etc.
Experience and what we look for:
2-5 years+ of experience working as an industrial maintenance technician Ability to work independently, effectively, safely and complete all tasks with attention to detail Working knowledge of, and experience with pneumatics and hydraulics maintenance, as well as mechanical and light electrical experience Proficiency in tracking maintenance activities with accuracy Ability to troubleshoot and analyze all mechanical devices. Familiarity with reading schematics and using hand and power tools Experience working on saws, bridges, conveyors automated or manual Triad Router Bridge or Nailing Bridge experience is a huge plus The ability to lift/push/pull and carry 50 lbs The ability to walk around, crawl under, climb, kneel, stoop and reach without restriction Ability to work indoors and outdoors
