Job Title: Welder

Job Description

As a Welder, your primary responsibilities will include MIG welding aluminum feed trailers. You will be tasked with climbing into bins and welding aluminum parts together, standing and welding, and tacking parts of trailers using .035 wire. Additionally, you will need to read and interpret blueprints to determine the necessary welds, measurements, and positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum feed trailers.

• Climb into bins and weld aluminum parts together.

• Stand and weld various parts of trailers.

• Tack parts of trailers using .035 wire.

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine welds, measurements, and positions.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of MIG welding experience.

• 1+ year of on-the-job welding experience.

• Ability to read a tape measure.

• 6+ months of experience welding steel or aluminum.

• Ability to climb into trailers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret blueprints.

• Willingness to work different shifts.

Work Environment

The environment is similar to a general shop, being cool in the winters and warm in the summer. The main departments include a service department, welding department, and final assembly department. Shift timings are as follows: 1st shift (5am-1:30pm OR 6am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm), and 3rd shift (9:30pm-6:00am). All candidates will train on the 1st shift for the first few weeks, and the quicker you learn, the quicker you will move to your assigned shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
