Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA are currently searching for a Sr Tech, Security to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This Sr Tech, Security will work on our Clearance Administration Team. They will be responsible for processing and maintaining Personnel Security Clearances (PCL) in accordance with the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government agency directives, for Collins Aerospace employees supporting government contracts.

What YOU will do:

• You will coordinate, initiate, and maintain personnel security clearances in DISS, NBIS, eApp, and SIMS.

• You will Collect fingerprints and uploading them into the government database.

• You will verify clearance and briefing status for requests to access secure workspaces.

• You will process incoming and outgoing domestic and foreign visit requests.

• You will submit Adverse Information Reports to the government.

• You will Track and Report Foreign Travel of cleared employees.

• You will facilitate classified meetings.

• You will coordinate initial and annual Security training, Insider Threat Briefings, special briefings, and other annual training as necessary.

• You will provide professional support and proactive customer service to coworkers, internal customers, and external customers daily.

• You will operate in accordance with corporate policies and practices.

Qualifications you must have:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen)

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

• Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

• Strong customer service experience required

• Must be able to work in a team environment

• Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite)

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
