Community Health Systems Phlebotomist (PT; Days) in CEDAR PARK, Texas

We are seeking an experienced, Part Time Phlebotomist to join our team! This position is a support staffing position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 12:30 pm, daily with one of our are clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Draws and collects blood samples from patients, which may include finger pricks to draw blood

  • Verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis

  • May conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank

  • Process and prepare specimens for testing.

  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician preferred

  • Must have Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred
