Kuehne+Nagel Customs Specialist in Cebu City, Philippines

Your Role
Accurate and timely compilation of Import Declarations as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). SSC Custom Specialist ensures that service expectations are met in accordance with agreed KPIs.
Your Responsibilities
Monitor RT Queue for incoming shipment - Import and Export Seafrieght.
Registration of BAL shipment in Toss from Japan Operations Team.
Registration of Non-BAL shipments from Japan Operations Team.
Gather and evaluate documents as minimum requirement for clearance.
Tie up documents with CIV, PKL, BL and COO (if applicable).
Determines type of packaging based on the given PKD.
For BAL shipments all information should be inputted in TOSS and should be the same with the required documents.
Determine appropriate Incoterm to be used for clearing shipments.
Input each items in CIVs to invoiced lines in TOSS.
For more than 30 lines, compilers prepare the invoiced items in excel form to be posted as well in TOSS
Determine and compute discounts.
Compute for freight charges if not indicated in the document.
Completes customs clearance by saving all information inputted in the system
Communicate with Implementation Manager for any issues on RT Queue
Communicate with Process and System Manager and Implementation Manager for any process updates.
Your Skills and Experiences
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration / Logistics / Business / Finance.
Atleast 2 years working experience in Sea, and Air Logistics
Preferably with experience in the Customs Brokerage
Basic Microsoft Excel Skills
Basic knowledge of Incoterms
Basic knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Customs regulations
Advanced English Proficiency
