AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

Job Responsibility:

Develop and execute comprehensive cross-industry solution marketing strategies tailored for the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets, aligning with the broader global marketing initiatives.

Collaborate closely with the Global PMM team, GCR PMM team, and HKT field marketing team to ensure seamless integration and effective execution of cross-industry solution campaigns and programs.

Drive the development of compelling value propositions, messaging, and content for key technology themes such as Generative AI, Data, Security, and Enterprise Workloads, catering to the specific needs and preferences of the local markets.

Serve as the content owner for HKT flagship events, Generative AI STO (Single Thread Owner), product launches, and cross-industry solution campaigns, ensuring high-quality and impactful content delivery.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including SSO, SA, startups, and industry solution teams, to align marketing strategies and campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach.

Collaborate with the startup/developer community to develop targeted strategies and content, fostering engagement and driving adoption of AWS solutions.

Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and campaign performance data to continuously optimize and refine marketing efforts, ensuring maximum effectiveness and ROI.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the technology or cloud computing industry.

  • Proven track record in developing successful marketing program, including content creation, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Deep understanding of the Hong Kong and Taiwan IT markets, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proficiency in project management and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations

  • Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS or other cloud platforms

  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification

  • Prior Product Marketing or Technical Marketing experience
