Description
We are seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Castroville, California, The Sr. Accounting Manager/Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, managing financial software systems, and ensuring accurate billing functions.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Handle and process customer credit applications with efficiency and accuracy
• Utilize various Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data and transactions
• Administer and manage ADP - Financial Services for payroll and other related services
• Employ BlackLine software for financial close management and accounting automation
• Use Concur for managing expenses, invoices, and other business spending
• Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial operations
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts for necessary action
• Resolve customer inquiries related to financial matters and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with BlackLine
• Proficiency in Concur software
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Strong auditing skills
• Experience with billing functions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Proven track record of implementing operational best practices
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
