Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the hospitality industry to find a Senior Accountant. This is a full time, permanent position in Lone Tree. It is 100% in office, and is paying $80-85k + bonus. Additional information and job requirements are below. Responsibilities:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables primarily in the compensation area (journal entries, reconciliations, reports)

• Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

• Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests.

• Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

• Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors

• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Participate in various department-wide initiatives

• Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelors highly preferred, but will consider without

• 3+ years full cycle accounting (ideally 5+)

• Someone who can be a team lead to 2 Staffs (not a direct manager)

• Financial statements experience

• Strong MS Excel (Vlookups, Pivots, SUMIFs, Xlookups)

Nice to have

• Inventory

• Budgeting experience

• Working with Auditors

• Experience as a team lead
