**[Meter Services Utility Workers[ are responsible for reading water meters, facilitating appointments with citizens to start/stop water service, exchanging meters, testing meter accuracy, meter utility maintenance, and being available for an on-call rotation.
[Water Distribution Utility Workers are responsible for basic operation and maintenance activities for water distribution systems, including the basic operation of standard light and heavy utility maintenance equipment and tools.
**UTILITY WORKER I - EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: [High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) Must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum of one-year experience performing maintenance work involving the operation of light and medium size equipment and hand and power tools preferred.
[Licensing Requirements: [Possession of, or ability to obtain within six months of hire, a valid Wyoming Class B Commercial Driver's License with applicable endorsements per assigned division is preferred. [Possession of, or ability to obtain within one year of hire, a Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Level I Distribution Systems Operator certification or Level I Wastewater Collection Operator certification, as appropriate.
**[UTILITY WORKER II - EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE [High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) [Must be at least 18 years of age. [Minimum of two years of increasingly responsible experience performing water, wastewater, or stormwater system installation, maintenance, and repair duties or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed below.
[Licensing Requirements: [Possession of a valid Wyoming Class B Commercial Driver's License with applicable endorsements per assigned division. [Possession of a Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Level II Distribution Systems Operator certification or Level II Wastewater Collection Operator certification, as appropriate or the ability to transfer an equivalent license from another State.
