JOB PURPOSE

This is a HR Business Partner Assistant role for the Casalpusterlengo R&D site, supporting the Oral Care and Home Care R&D teams .  

This role plays a key role in delivering HR support to the business and ensuring HR delivery is in fully aligned to business goals in their area of business, building successful partnerships and collaboration with our support teams, partnering with business leaders and HR Expertise & Innovation teams and Employee Experience Teams to shape the people, culture, learning and engagement strategies, working closely with the Global HR Lead s for R&D Home Care & Oral Care .   

             

RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Business Partner Assistant ensures the execution of HR activities being aligned with global direction and strategy and the local Italian context .   

Talent and Career Management  

  • Provide input into the talent management strategy and maintain the talent pipeline for the overall R&D pipeline in Casal pusterlengo .  

  • Activate and execute the performance management cycle in line with the global timelines  and support to embed a high-performance culture . Work with Global HRBP to ensure local performance benchmarks are in line with Global Category / Business Unit benchmarks.

  • Support line managers in linking / executing reward guidelines as required  

  • Execution of talent and career management frameworks as required  

  • Use Leadership and Talent Development Tools to drive organization performance 

    Culture Development, Learning & Employee Engagement:   

  • Support the site lead r esponsible for cultural interventions to enable the Casal pusterlengo R&D teams to work effectively and efficiently in diverse and inclusive environment .

  • Support initiatives to bring together local site culture together with G lobal C ategory culture to drive One Team mindset .

  • Develop and execute capability building plans to ensure the Casalpusterlengo R&D talents are future fit to drive business growth 

  • Implement engagement, well-being initiatives and recognition schemes for the Casalpusterlengo R&D community. 

    Employee Relations

  • Maintain a partnership relationship with local Trade Union and support site change management as required

  • Support line managers with sick absence cases and work with onsite Doctor for advice as required .

  • Maintain sick absence records and ensure long term or recurring sick absence is managed promptly .

  • Coach line managers to drive performance management conversations

    ALL ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in HR, ideally with some experience in business partnering 

  • Passion for business with strong customer focus 

  • Good knowledge of key HR processes, roles and responsibilities  

  • Comfortable with HR systems (Workday, PowerBI etc) and managing, analysing HR data and building insights and a point of view from that data 

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond to multiple changes and working to influence change remotely 

  • Experience of working across teams in a global environment – both F2F and virtually. 

  • Ability and drive to work independently 

  • Proven track record on adaptability, agility and passion for continuous improvement/learning 

  • Fluency in English and Italian
