Oracle Skills Development Initiative Project Manager - EMEA in CASABLANCA, Morocco

Job Description

What you will do

As the Skills Development Initiative (SDI) Project Manager - EMEA, your primary responsibility will be to support, establish and manage partnerships and relationships with universities and government entities across EMEA. Your objective is to promote, execute, and facilitate skills development training programs that meet the region's evolving digital transformation needs in cloud technologies and business applications.

University and Government Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain strong connections with universities, colleges, and government agencies in EMEA.

  • Collaborate with academic institutions and government bodies to promote the SDI program, understanding and addressing skill gaps and training requirements.

Program Development:

  • Work closely with academic partners to create and shape curriculum and training programs that align with industry demands.

  • Identify potential funding sources and grants to support skills development initiatives.

Partnership Management:

  • Negotiate and establish partnerships, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), and collaborative agreements with universities and government agencies.

  • Ensure these partnerships are mutually beneficial and align with Oracle’s objectives.

Advocacy and Promotion:

  • Advocate for Oracle within the education and government sectors, emphasizing the value of our skills development programs.

  • Represent Oracle at industry events, conferences, and meetings with key stakeholders.

Reporting and Evaluation:

  • Develop performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success and impact of skills development programs.

  • Regularly report on the progress of university and government partnerships to senior management.

Desired Experience

  • Proven ability to locate and engage key stakeholders within SDI Sponsoring Entities and their partners (such as Universities) on an operational basis.

  • Strong project management skills, including task assignment, time tracking, and critical path management.

  • Strong operational management capabilities, including reporting cadence and stakeholder communication.

  • Understanding of the technical concepts and benefits of Oracle technologies, particularly OCI and Machine Learning.

  • Basic knowledge of the key business processes that Oracle SaaS products address.

  • Ability to articulate the benefits of the SDI program to diverse senior stakeholders (Oracle Leadership, Customers, Partners, Bureaucrats, Academics, etc.).

  • Passion for professional education and certification.

  • Knowledge of modern demand generation techniques (social media, etc.).

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Degree educated. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written business English. French is desirable.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (written and via Zoom).

  • At least 5 years of operational and commercial process experience.

  • Proven experience in relationship management, partnership development, or related roles.

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and business applications is a strong advantage.

  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Knowledge of the EMEA education system and government structures is beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of Oracle internal business processes (HQApp, Q, DAS, etc.).
