The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary AI CoE (Center of Excellence) Leader to lead our organization's AI initiatives and drive innovation in artificial intelligence. As the AI CoE Leader, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of our AI strategy across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to identify and prioritize AI opportunities, develop AI solutions, and ensure successful integration of AI technologies into our business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the AI strategy: Define and drive the organization's AI roadmap and vision, aligning it with business goals and objectives.

• Lead the AI CoE team: Build and manage a high-performing team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI specialists. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.

• Identify enterprise AI opportunities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and assess potential use cases for AI applications that can drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences.

• Project management: Oversee the end-to-end development and implementation of AI projects, including scoping, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment.

• Drive AI innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in AI technologies, tools, and methodologies. Evaluate and recommend new AI solutions and frameworks to enhance our capabilities and competitiveness.

• Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and technical teams, to ensure alignment, secure buy-in, and facilitate successful adoption of AI initiatives.

• Governance and ethics: Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, privacy regulations, and industry standards for AI development and deployment.

• Performance monitoring and optimization: Implement measures to track and evaluate the performance and impact of AI projects. Continuously improve and optimize AI models and algorithms to achieve desired outcomes.

• Knowledge sharing and training: Promote AI awareness and knowledge sharing across the organization through training programs, workshops, and best practice dissemination.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, master’s degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a STEM related field

• Experience in leading AI initiatives, preferably in a leadership role within an AI-focused organization or a dedicated AI CoE.

• Expertise in AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex AI projects from conception to deployment.

• Understanding of AI tools, frameworks, and platforms.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate and drive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
