Lakeview Industries, Inc. Product Engineer in Carver, Minnesota

Lakeview Industries, Inc. seeks a Product Engineer in Carver, Minnesota (Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI area). Assist with the development of product ideas while working with the customer to achieve their needs and requirements. Responsible for the development of quotes for the customer. Work with the sales team to be a technical resource and provide product expertise. Responsible for developing product ideas based on customer requirements, quoting customers on new product opportunities evaluating price, rates and capacity, collaborating with the sales team and solutions group to understand order requirements, specifications, and material options, and reviewing Request for Quotes (RFQs) and drawings while creating quotes. Responsible for checking customer portals daily for quote requests, communicating with the manufacturing floor and utilizing software to determine optimal output and yield, participating in group meetings and offering suggestions for product solutions, joining the sales team on client calls, as needed, as a technical resource, completing drawings and bill of materials (BOM) for parts and products using 3D computer aided design software (CAD) or Pro/Engineer, managing and developing 3D printing capabilities, identifying and contacting material suppliers, including on-site visits as needed, researching new materials, processes and equipment, developing and growing long-term relationships with our customers, serving as a project lead for key opportunities under the direction of Engineering Management, maintaining Customer Portal Activity involving Request for Quotes (RFQs) and documentation, assisting Electronic Communications Networks (ECN) completion, and other duties, as assigned. This position is for full-time employment by Lakeview Industries, Inc. for employment in Carver, Minnesota (Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI area). Work from home in the Twin Cities metro area 1-3 days a week is permitted but not required. EOE.
