UL, LLC Inspector/ Auditor - Electrical Engineering in Carugate, Italy

Our experienced teams develop and plan customized inspection programs to meet each client's unique requirements. Whether assessments are to be conducted on-site, at UL facilities or in the field, we independently evaluate established criteria to help our customers identify and close implementation gaps. In addition, we offer follow-up services that include inspections to continuously verify the conformity of UL certified products.

After a very intensive and customized training provided by experienced colleagues, you will be responsible for independently conducting audits and inspections for products at our industrial customers in the Southern Milan area.

To strengthen our Field Services/ Inspection team, we are looking for an Inspector/Auditor - Electrical Engineering in the southern Milan area, with a permanent contract.

This role includes a home office contract and a company car (with private use).

  • Verification of compliance with our prescribed test criteria on UL-certified components in various industrial sectors.

  • Inspection includes the interpretation and analysis of test results according to UL requirements, as well as the verification of production records and measuring equipment for accuracy.

  • The inspections will cover a wide range of product components, which will allow you to strengthen/build up a wide range of expertise.

  • You will organize and structure your daily routine and customer visits independently, from your home office.

  • Your work will be accompanied by in-depth cooperation with our customers and other departments within UL Solutions.

  • You will report to our Business Manager and you will be part of a collaborative team based in Italy, on various locations.

  • Completed training/studies in the field of electrical engineering/electronics (Bachelor) or comparable qualifications

  • Professional experience in control cabinets is a plus

  • Experience in carrying out customer visits/inspections and audits is an advantage

  • Customer-orientation, diplomatic skills, strong communication skills

  • Responsibility and commitment, paired with the ability to work independently

  • Willingness to travel on a daily basis and stay overnight occasionally for inspections outside your regular geographical area (driving license class B is needed, a company car will be provided)

  • Good written and spoken English skills are essential
