Parts Sales Manager

Description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate all activities to meet department goals.

  • Develop positive employee relations though coaching, counseling personnel on questions and problems.

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities and employee training needs.

  • Evaluate parts categories and fill rates and act to meet requirements.

  • Coordinate parts orders.

  • Collection of aging receivable.

  • Responsible for submitting daily sales and productivity reports for department.

  • Identify and communicate potential new business opportunities.

  • Provide customers with parts support including; answering parts calls, coordinating expedited shipping and resolving customer issues.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field and 5 years of relevant experience required

In Lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of relevant experience required

  • Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must possess a valid driver license and comply with TSV pool, fleet, and DOT policies
