Millwright V

Description:

Perform preventive maintenance and minor repair on all mechanical of sawmill and planermill.  Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery as indicated.  Refills lube oil reservoirs, greases bearings, checks gearbox oil levels.  May be tasked with replacing bearings or repairing malfunctioning drive or lube system components.

Ø       1yr experience in sawmill or planermill with mechanical abilities

Ø       Ability to use grease guns, chain oilers and various day use containers in the          performance of preventive maintenance tasks

Ø       Must be able to work overtime and weekends Ø       Maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

Ø       Must be 18 years of age

Ø       Ability to work in a team environment

Ø       Must be able to work overtime and weekends

Ø       1yr experience in sawmill or planermill with mechanical abilities

Physical ability:

Ø       Must be able to work up to 10 hours per shift

Ø       Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds as needed

Ø       Must be able to pass a drug screen and adhere to a no drug policy

Shift hours and days of work:
