We seek a strategic, results-driven leader for Director, Marketing Process & Governance (Global) within Ford & Lincoln Marketing. Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing Operations, this leader will play a crucial role in driving smooth transitions as we implement new processes, tools, and operational structures while driving scale solutions across the Marketing organization at Ford. Partnering with Ford & Lincoln Marketing leads, they will define best practices, lead operational change, and implement cross-functional solutions to enhance efficiency and build a foundation of excellence in processes, infrastructure, access, and measurement.

What you'll do…

Change Strategy, Planning and Communication

Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes. Partner with stakeholders, craft communications, create best practices, and address rollout challenges to minimize operational friction. Key areas:

  • Develop a structured change management framework to support marketing transformation efforts.

  • Define clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics for change initiatives.

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across Ford and Lincoln marketing and leadership.

  • Craft and execute a communication plan to ensure transparency and alignment.

  • Address resistance by fostering buy-in through targeted messaging and leadership support.

Process Optimization and Adoption

  • Play a key role in rolling out and supporting enterprise-wide working rhythms.

  • Implement the Marketing Operations intake process, supporting meetings (Annual, Quarterly, Biweekly) processes and tools.

  • Support operating rhythm of the marketing team by partnering with marketing teams to Identify addressable opportunities to implement tooling and workflow improvements to streamline and simplify complex workflows.

  • Continuously assess, manage and optimize existing processes, systems & tools to adapt to evolving business needs and industry best practices.

  • Manage relationships with external service providers, agencies, and vendors ensuring effective and efficient support, integration solutions and risk management.

  • Ad Hoc Departmental projects: given rapid pace of change, resilient leader excited to take on emerging or nebulous business, operational or organizational opportunities

Training & Enablement

  • Develop training programs to educate teams on new processes, platforms, or ways of working.

  • Ensure teams understand and adopt new marketing technologies, tools and processes

  • Provide ongoing support resources , including FAQs, knowledge bases, and hands-on training sessions.

  • Partner with Martech in establishing documentation system to capture defined processes, best practices, workflows etc. to ensure that processes, workflows, and best practices are consistently followed across teams and regions and reducing misunderstandings and errors

  • To support ongoing organizational learning, drive the establishment of quarterly lunch and learns within the marketing organization

Performance Measurement, Reporting & Risk Management

  • Define KPIs for adoption and effectiveness of change initiatives.

  • Collect feedback from teams to measure satisfaction and readiness and drive continuous improvement efforts to refine processes based on feedback.

  • Monitor adoption metrics and identify roadblocks to successful implementation.

  • Consistently demonstrate marketing operations value to leadership and stakeholders by reporting on progress, showcasing the teams’ contributions and accomplishments highlighting wins and areas needing reinforcement.

  • Identify potential risks and resistance points early in the change process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure minimal disruption to marketing operations.

  • Foster a culture of adaptability , encouraging proactive problem-solving

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related degree

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in a senior marketing operations role, demonstrating successful project management and process optimization.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from marketing data.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and development.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive successful cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing operations team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence in marketing operations and delivering impactful results.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with tight deadlines.
