Description

This position is with the First Judicial District Court. This is a non-exempt, part-time position, not to exceed 1039 work hours in any fiscal year. Employees in this position will perform a variety of clerical duties. Performs duties including customer service, data entry and retrieval, filing, and records storage; performs related duties as required. Must be able to work 10 to 20 hours per week, this may include weekends.

  • Greetand assist visitors with routine matters.
  • Answertelephone, route calls, and take and relay messages.
  • Respondto request for information related to specific unit of assignment.
  • Proofread, and distribute correspondence, forms and reports.
  • Enterand retrieve information from an automated data system.
  • Maintainand update filing and/or records systems, mailing lists, and other specialized record keeping information.
  • Maintainand monitor office and/or specialized supplies and related equipment.
  • Review all work for accuracy and completeness, and maintain confidentiality of all information.
  • Photocopy, collate, and distribute reports and documents.
  • Sortand disseminate mail to appropriate staff and office.
  • Operate a variety of office equipment, i.e. computer, fax, copier, sorter, postage machine, and etc.
