Are you passionate about skincare? We're seeking a National Account Education Training Manager to lead the development of brand-focused education and digital content programs for retail partners with an emphasis on Sephora, to cultivate brand connection and loyalty. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of training programs and tools supporting Beauty Advisors in Sephora stores, Dermalogica Instructors, and Dermalogica Sephora Account Managers.

This position has become available due to an internal promotion, providing an exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate to step into this role.

This position must be based at the Dermalogica Corporate Office, Carson CA - this is non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

Educational Liaison:

  • Collaborate closely with the National Account Sales Director and Regional Managers to ensure that educational programs are strategically aligned with key business drivers, including selling capabilities, product activations, and overarching strategic growth plans.

  • Partner with National Accounts Sales Director to design, train and deliver impactful Sephora brand -takeovers- to incorporate service and sales drivers.

  • Collect input from Regional Managers, the National Field Sales Manager, and the field team to understand specific educational needs.

  • Assist the National Accounts Sales Director in hiring and onboarding licensed contract professionals to provide in-store support at select Sephora locations.

  • Partner with Sephora education leads to cross-brand training and deliver exceptional and impactful materials for sales generation.

  • Manage in-field sales and event support scheduling in partnership with Sephora Account Managers and District Education Managers.

  • Design and execute training programs for freelance sales support personnel.

  • Oversee the management of the educational materials database, ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and accessibility of content for sales partners.

  • Collaborate with the Dermalogica National Training Manager to provide Dermalogica Instructor training and share best practices across all assigned business channels.

  • Provide quarterly educational support for sales market meetings, trade shows, and virtual meetings .

Training and Development:

The workload for this role is structured as 20% development and 80% execution. The responsibilities include:

  • Create captivating, retail driven, brand and product training content for Sephora Beauty Advisors to maximize knowledge and sales, ensuring updates are delivered in line with SKU growth and product innovations.

  • Develop interactive and innovative training tools to be implemented for on-floor training of Sephora Beauty Advisors.

  • Create and deliver monthly internal retail training programs for Dermalogica Sephora Account Managers to ensure expected standards are met and retail activations and on floor training are delivered to the highest skill.

  • Provide in-person sales and training support for Sephora store partners.

  • Regularly support Sephora stores for events and promotional activities in conjunction with the Dermalogica Instructors and SAMS.

  • Plan, pitch, and create quarterly online training for Sephora gratis program.

  • Create, film, and edit microlearning videos for the Sephora Learning Management System (LMS).

Education and/or Experience:

  • Current esthetics license

  • Experience with behind camera work a benefit

  • Previous on floor retail experience required

  • Experience in training or related function, preferably in a retail environment

Internal Candidates:

  • Minimum 2 years- experience as a Dermalogica Instructor

  • Senior Instructor level preferred , but not required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work days may include training on a busy retail floor with high noise volume.

  • Position requires flexible schedule with occasional weekends and evenings required .

  • Up to 70% travel domestically.
