ROLE PURPOSEThe Repair Technician will be responsible for undertaking all actions necessary to render return product serviceable by cleaning, repairing, testing and the performance evaluation of electronic and mechanical components; follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES• Performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of returned product. Operates required equipment and test fixtures• Recognize failures, identify root causes, and repair products in a cost effective, efficient manner, according to quality standards and expediting return product to stock • Record repair data in company systems accurately. • Monitor, identify and communicate any needed supplies, tools, and other items for efficient workflow in the repair area• Maintain clean and efficient work environment• Follow and execute procedures and policies established by management• Proactively aid with various tasks to support overall business objectives• Recognize and communicate areas for continuous improvement.• Complete special projects as assigned.• Assists in material handling and inventory control as needed• Attend meetings and training as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Education and Experience • Associate degree (A. A.) in Electromechanics or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications: • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in electronic and/or mechanical components repair• Prior experience servicing and repairing Automated Teller Machines (ATM’s)/Automated money handling machines is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES • Strong problem-solving competency• Functional knowledge and experience with use of basic repair tools• Ability to follow and execute procedures and policies established by management• Demonstrates competency in primary repair within the first 6 months of employment• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite Applications• Excellent organizational skills• Excellent verbal communication skills• Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail.• Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize competing demands.• Possess a positive attitude; is conscientious and responsive.• Works well independently yet is cooperative in working with team assignments and activities.• Exercises diligence in completing work activities with the willingness to work extra hours if needed. • Understands diversity and the importance of fostering an open and respectful work environment.

Pay Range: $20-$22/hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; education; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
