Quality Supervisor

Kelly Science is seeking a passionate and experienced Quality Supervisor to join our growing team in the Dallas, TX area.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and compliance of our services. You will supervise personnel and processes within the Quality Department, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well known leading North American provider of laboratory testing, regulatory consulting, and certification & audit services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Quality Management System (QMS) and staff.

  • Maintain compliance with cGMPs, ICH, USP/NF, CFR/FDA regulations, and other relevant guidelines.

  • Oversee document control systems, including tracking, filing, and improvement.

  • Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audits.

  • Develop and supervise training programs on quality practices.

  • Champion impartiality and ethical conduct in laboratory operations.

  • Implement quality standards across all departments.

  • Review and improve existing quality policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain quality documentation.

  • Supervise the SOP review schedule for laboratory procedures and forms.

  • Assist in formulating company policies and operating procedures.

  • Manage change control, deviations, customer complaints, risk assessments, and CAPAs.

  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and procedures.

  • Prepare submissions for license renewals and annual registrations.

  • Identify and prevent quality issues in new and existing methods.

  • Propose solutions for problem-solving and testing opportunities.

  • Oversee data retention and destruction procedures.

  • Recommend responses to customer complaints.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external departments.

  • Maintain professional relationships that uphold impartiality.

  • Attend industry conferences and seminars to stay informed.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Systems, Biological Science, or Chemical Science (preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory, quality control, or quality assurance.

  • Five (5) years of management experience is preferred; or (2) two years of management or supervisory experience desired.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical or Dietary Supplement experience is required.

  • Prefer experience in commercial lab testing environment for biomanufacturing products.

  • Strong analytical chemistry experience required.

  • Commercial lab testing is required.

  • Working knowledge of GxP, CFR, FDA, USP/NF, ICH, cGMP, cGLP, and ISO standards.

  • Proficiency in various software systems.

  • Commitment to confidentiality and laboratory safety practices.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) for scientific and non-scientific audiences.

  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
