Description Candidates who have a strong interest in networking hardware and software will be a great fit for this position. Are you well versed in interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure? Robert Half is seeking a Network Engineer with a high attention to detail and a passion for the field. This Network Engineer position is an opportunity for long-term contract / contract / temporary to permanent employment and is based in the Carrollton, Texas area.

Your responsibilities

• Sustain a secure transfer of data to various locations by way of internal and external networks

• Work alongside vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of networks

• Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers

• Utilize traditional and creative methods to develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks

• Initiate and implement network test facilities Requirements - Skilled in network design and implementation strategies

• Strong familiarity with Network Switches

• PowerShell experience

• Cisco ASA Firewall experience desired

• Microsoft Windows Server experience preferred

• Command of Cisco Routers
