Bank OZK Loan Assistant Homebuilder Finance in Carrollton, Georgia

Job Purpose & Scope

Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Lending department.

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as first point of contact for all internal and external calls to the department.

  • Coordinate with lenders all applications received via fax and electronic submission.

  • Produce reports, including monthly usage reports, multiple reports documenting daily, weekly, and monthly results, and credit reports as needed.

  • Prepare and mails Adverse Action Notices to declined applicants as required by law.

  • Assemble loan files for Credit Administration/Loan Review.

  • Assist with documentation and request monthly disbursement of dealer reserve accounts if needed.

  • Serve as liaison to ensure the bank is meeting the customers’ needs and to maximize the customer/bank relationship.

  • Responsible for being familiar with bank products and services to have the ability to cross sell, as necessary.

  • Assist with providing back up support as needed for commercial lending.

  • Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work.

  • Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Skill in using computer and Microsoft office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with commercial loans processing preferred.

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with computers, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year administrative/clerical experience required.
