  • [[Assist the Planning and Operations Director with day-to-day duties]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Provides continuing technical assistance to grantees.]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Provide review of grant application packets to ensure proper guidelines are followed.]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Submit grant applications via various funding source platforms. ]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Provide technical assistance to the grantees throughout the MRGDC region, either in-person or virtually.]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Assist region in community planning matters ]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Attend all state mandatory training, as well as required staff training. ]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Submit all required and requested reports timely to state.]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Must be able to travel in and out of region as necessary for training or aiding the community served.]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Plans and coordinates meetings. ]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Informs local units of governments of funding availability. ]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Compiles data for dissemination to entities within the region. ]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Coordinates the development and submission of project applications and relevant documents to various funding sources. ]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Deliver presentations of proposed projects to board of directors, activity committees, various government entities and the public. ]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}
  • [[Assist the 911 and 211 department with various clerical duties]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}

[[2 Years or more of college in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or Business Administration or related field preferred but not required; plus, 2 (two) years experiences with governmental programs; two (2) years experiences in an administrative capacity, or response capacity with local, state, or federal programs may be substituted for education. Experience in public administration, criminal justice, and/or HLS program or an equivalent combination of education of education and experience.]{style="font-family:" times="" new="" roman\",serif\"=""}]{style="font-size:12pt"}

[[Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have good writing skills and the ability to work well with local/state/federal partners.
