ManpowerGroup Warehouse Forklift Operator in Carol Stream, Illinois

Our client, a top-tier leader in the Warehousing and Logistics industry, is seeking skilled individuals to join their dynamic team as Logistics Associates II and III. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Warehouse Team within the Operations Department. The ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to teamwork, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Job Titles:

  • Logistics Associate II - $18.50 per hour

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Shift: Flexible

Job Responsibilities:

  • Picking and Stocking: Perform repack picking and repack stocking/replenishment tasks.

  • Shipping and Receiving: Engage in small parcel shipping, LTL (Less Than Truckload) pallet build, and loading/unloading using a pallet jack or sit-down forklift.

  • General Warehousing Duties: Execute tasks as directed by management, with a focus on maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

  • Inventory Management: Participate in cycle counting and stock replenishment.

  • Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers (for Logistics Associate III).

  • Availability: Full-time hours with the flexibility to work overtime as needed, including mandatory shifts during peak times.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to solve problems and analyze situations effectively.

  • Teamwork: Collaborative approach to working within a team.

  • Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including reaching, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, transportation, or warehousing is desired but not required.

  • PC Skills: Intermediate proficiency in PC usage for tracking and documentation purposes.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work up to 10 hours per day and potentially one additional day on weekends as needed.

  • Additional Requirement for Logistics Associate III: Cherry Picker experience required.
