Kelly Services Warehouse Associate in carol stream, Illinois

Warehouse Associate Pick/Pack/Shipping/Receiving needed in Carol Stream, IL.

Overview: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily customer order fulfillment activities within a distribution facility. This role requires proficiency in at least one or more distribution-related activities such as order filling, shipping, or receiving. The position operates in a quality and productivity-driven environment with a strong emphasis on safety.

Shifts starting at $18.50

(Mon-Thu 7am-5:30pm)

(Mon-Thu 7pm-5:30am)

(Fri-Sun 7am-7pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various distribution functions e.g., checking, picking, packing, replenishment, shipping, receiving as needed.

  • Occasionally operate an rf scanner.

  • Maintain a safe work environment with a focus on housekeeping and safety practices.

  • Uphold the company s core values in daily tasks.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution process.

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic communication skills in English verbal and written . Basic math skills addition, subtraction, multiplication . Basic computer skills internet navigation, document handling . Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly. Ability to perform manual tasks such as pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation. Demonstrated good job performance and behavior in areas like teamwork, attendance, and productivity. Previous related experience 1 year preferred .
