Job Title: Press Operator

Job Description

The Press Brake operator is responsible for set-up and operation of press brake equipment per specifications and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Performs set-ups and training for machine operators.

• Operates forming equipment, troubleshoots and makes adjustments to programs and equipment as necessary.

• Completes essential documents per standard operation procedures.

• Develops and maintains program files, tooling library and racks.

Hard Skills

• 2 or more years of experience in a metal manufacturing operating a Press Brake (the person or Salvagnini preferred)

• 2 or more years of experience with fabricating

• Ability to differentiate colors

• Use basic hand tools

• Read engineering blueprints

• Bill of materials

Work Environment

The facility is larger split up between assembly/warehouse, lab setting for circuit board manufacturing and then fabrication. All is well lit, clean and organized, including the fabrication area.
