Robert Half Claims Investigator in Carmel, Indiana

Description

We are seeking a Claims Investigator to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in CARMEL, Indiana, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating claims, gathering and documenting information, interacting with external insurance carriers, and handling customer inquiries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and gather information from external insurance carriers related to collateral being investigated.

• Make outbound calls to insurance claim departments to inquire and follow up on details needed to make coverage judgments.

• Document the required information within the file and continue making follow-up calls until the information is gathered.

• Manage the receipt of new investigation assignments and handle pending inventory assigned to you.

• Make outbound calls to report New Claims to external insurance carriers.

• Handle investigations related to coverage relative to a specific vehicle or borrower.

• Review condition reports submitted by lender clients for damaged collateral and identify those with damage for movement to the next stage of the process.

• Ensure quality and production targets are met as set by management.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Provide exceptional customer service through phone calls and email correspondence.

Requirements • Possess strong skills in Call Center Customer Service

• Demonstrated ability in Customer Service

• Proven experience in Data Entry tasks

• Proficient in handling Email Correspondence

• Knowledge of Auto Insurance sector

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of professionalism and integrity

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Flexibility to work in shifts if required

• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry would be an advantage.
