We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects in the New York City area. This role will be 50% in office, and 50% in the field. As a Project Manager at BrandSafway, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

  • Establish and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.

  • Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.

  • Monitor project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as required.

  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

  • Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Proactively address issues to prevent delays and cost overruns.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Client Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.

  • Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
