Henry Schein Associate Regulatory Affairs Specialist (Remote) in Carlstadt, New Jersey

JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is primarily responsible for renewing, maintaining, and auditing Henry Schein's various licenses across the US in addition to the relevant databases used to manage them.
This role includes performing research and analysis on Federal, State, and Local regulations to ensure the company's ongoing compliance and is a strong key supporting player in the creation, development, and implementation of compliance systems, policies, and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the following duties:
Renews Henry Schein licenses, supports the coordination of the renewals with team, and monitors various KPI to ensure tasks are completed.
Maintains, develops, and enhances internal systems supplier licensure database to ensure minimal exception handling occurrences at Distribution Centers.
Created, Develop, and Implement systems and processes needed to manage various aspects of licensure
Develop appropriate awareness and training programs for TSMs consistent with regulatory compliance policies and procedures.
Research and analyze applicable laws and regulations; develop and implement the necessary policies and procedures to ensure the Company's ongoing compliance with Federal, State and local requirements.
Support Distribution Center management and designated staff on the actions necessary to maintain regulatory compliance.
Provides support during government inspections and formulating the appropriate response and corrective actions.
Provide guidance to the company and subsidiaries to perform actions in order to maintain regulatory compliance for various facilities.
Provide support to Corporate Brand Development Group and other Business Units researching issues pertaining to regulatory matters.
Takes on role as Project Leader for assignments as delegated by Manager or participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 1 or more years of related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
General education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor's degree preferred.

TRAVEL/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%.
Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $45,700 to $76,200 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
