Work Control Center Coordinator

Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as aWork Control Center Coordinator Coordinatorand join our team to support our government customer in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building work control documents (WCDs) to support activity-level work at the Waste Isolation Pilot Project in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This includes collaborating with Work Week Managers to build packages or weekly schedules, coordinating with Maintenance and other departments to ensure packages are processed through the system in a timely manner, interfacing with support organizations and subject matter experts to provide a work document that will facilitate safe and compliant conduct of work on facility systems and components, providing documents for records to other departments, and processing all WCD records for RIDS. Candidate will work with Maintenance Admins on obtaining complete, auditable WCDs for completion process. Candidate will also be responsible for sending Trending and Feedback Notices along with Delinquent Reporting and PM Request Form Processing to Operations, Maintenance and Engineering.

Non-Exempt Salary Grade (24-26)

Minimum Requirements:These requirements must be met to be considered for this posting. Uploaded resumes and completed applications are the means of determination.

  • Associate-s degree with two (2) years of related experience, or

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency with four (4) years of related experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Experience with working in Computer Database Systems.

Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Six months experience working in a Work Control Center, or

  • Six months Records Coordinator experience.

  • Previous WIPP process experience.

  • Experience with use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (especially CHAMPS).

Minimum salary $59,251 per year-- Base salary will be increased upon candidate's background (i.e., education and experience)
