Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a hands-on technical consultant to support a client project as they work on a proof-of-concept for the Super Computing event in November. The consultant will be responsible for thought leadership and collaboration in determining how to integrate the client's SDK into the customer's appliance stack. The majority of this consultant's day will be spent writing code, testing, and validating that code in the lab. They will also help with calls with the global customer 2X per week so flexibility in taking calls will be required.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of storage architecture experience using software stack like ZFS (Zetabyte File system) and other open-source systems

  8+ yes of experience developing applications on an operating system (OS)-level, Kernel-level, and user level

  Expert-level knowledge of storage controllers

5-8 years of experience developing RAID (redundant array of independent disks controllers) controller architecture

Compensation: $80-85/hour Off-load acceleration
